The historic announcement was marked by a record-breaking 9,000-drone light show—the largest ever staged in the region—alongside a breathtaking fireworks display and live performances by global superstars.
Held at Yas Links, the star-studded event featured a once-in-a-lifetime collaboration between world-renowned pianist Lang Lang, Emirati music icon Rashed Alnuaimi, West End sensation Kerry Ellis, and classical virtuoso Sonya Balsara. The celebration drew A-list celebrities including Tyrese Gibson, Naomi Campbell, Nancy Ajram, Chiara Ferragni, and Ed Westwick, alongside dignitaries and industry leaders, all witnessing the dawn of a new era for Disney and Yas Island.
