Arada has successfully finished the initial homes at Masaar, the expansive forested megaproject situated in Sharjah’s Suyoh district. The handover process for all 430 homes in the Sendian district has commenced, marking a significant development for one of the UAE’s highly anticipated communities.
The residences at Sendian encompass a variety of sizes, ranging from two-bedroom townhouses to five-bedroom Sendian Park Villas. Each residence is equipped with smart home features and strategically located near the central leisure and entertainment zone within Masaar.
HRH Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal, Vice Chairman of Arada, expressed pride in the achievement, stating, “Masaar has been one of the bestselling projects in the UAE, with buyers attracted to its beautiful woodlands, nature-inspired architecture, and world-class amenities.”
The first phase’s main contractors were Intermass and Kharafi, with Dewan Architects serving as the design and supervision consultant. Masaar, scheduled for full completion by the end of 2026, encompasses 3,000 villas and townhouses across a 19 million square foot master plan, organized into six gated districts connected by a lushly landscaped and walkable ‘green spine’ featuring 50,000 trees.
Construction is currently underway for the 986 homes in the second and third phases, set to conclude by the end of 2024. Contracts for the remaining three phases are expected to be awarded by year-end.
New Masaar residents have access to various completed facilities, including the central precinct inaugurated in September 2022 by HH Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi. This precinct features family-friendly entertainment, sports, and F&B attractions, including the Zad food truck district, a skatepark, a children’s adventure playground, and an events space.
In November, Arada introduced Masaar Track, a 6.6-kilometer cycling circuit through the woodlands, equipped with amenities such as brightly lit underpasses, a bridge, and The Loop—a cycling hub offering services like repairs, rentals, cycling kits, and an onsite café.
Strategically located in the emerging Suyoh district, close to Tilal City, the Sharjah Mosque, and Arada’s first project, Nasma Residences, Masaar provides convenient access to Emirates Road and Mleiha Road. The community is a 15-minute drive from Sharjah International Airport and a 20-minute drive from Dubai International Airport.
