Iconic American band Backstreet Boys are to headline the second and final day of the 2024 Diriyah E-Prix which will also see Egyptian rock band Cairokee and Dutch DJ Afrojack take to the stage.
The trio will perform on Saturday 27th January and close out the double-header Diriyah races that form Round Two and Three of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. Tickets are still available to watch the races and attend the concerts.
As one of the best-selling bands of all time, Backstreet Boys returns to Saudi Arabia and will wow the fans with some of their smash-hit singles including ‘I Want It That Way’, ‘Everybody’ and ‘Incomplete’. These iconic tunes have helped the Backstreet Boys sell more than 100 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling music artists while winning numerous awards.
Fans will also be able to see Cairokee on stage with the Egyptian rock band set to play out some of their revolutionary musical tunes including their amazing songs such as “Layla”, “El Seka Shemal Fe Shemal” and “Samurai”. Afrojack will be the third and final act with the Dutch DJ, who co-produced ‘Hey Mama’ with David Guetta, performing his tunes that have seen him become one of the prominent global DJs.
Backstreet Boys, Cairokee and Afrojack are part of an incredible entertainment line-up for the Diriyah races which also sees performances from OneRepublic, Nancy Ajram and Alesso on Friday 26th January.

Rounds 2 and 3 take place on a street circuit surrounding the UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the most picturesque locations on the 16-race calendar the only night races in the Formula E season.
Ahead of the races, which start at 8pm AST on both days, ticketholders can enjoy a full day of entertainment for the whole family in the Allianz Fan Village, with racing simulators in the gaming arena, plus live music performances, street food and much more.
The Diriyah E-Prix races are part of Saudi Arabia’s investment in sport, which aims to inspire its people to enjoy active and healthy lives as part of the country’s Vision 2030 cultural transformation. From its investments in grass roots infrastructure through to hosting international events – including motorsport, football, tennis and boxing – the country’s Ministry of Sport has helped inspire a 48% increase in weekly sports participation among the local population. The number of Saudi-based sports federations is also up from 32 in 2015 to 97.
