A year after opening at the height of the COVID pandemic, INSPIRE, one of the UAE’s most loved yoga, Pilates and wellness centres, will celebrate its first anniversary with an open house on Saturday, August 28; classes are FREE of charge to give back to the community from 8 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. While many studios and fitness centres closed their doors last year, INSPIRE opened its second studio in the heart of Dubai’s business and financial hub, DIFC. The company’s first location, in Al Manara, opened in 2014.
“To open a studio during a pandemic was a positive step forward, a way for the community to connect. INSPIRE is about community, and we believe that this community is essential to motivating and inspiring people now more than ever,” said John Iossifidis, co-founder, INSPIRE. “
Since we launched INSPIRE in DIFC one year ago, we’ve introduced a variety of programs and activities for the community, hosted several successful outdoor classes in the park, on the mall rooftop and partnered with leading brands to bring yoga to the community. In addition, we initiated an animal welfare campaign to help neuter homeless dogs and cats. The program has already made a positive impact on many cats and dogs.”
The pay-what-you-can yoga campaign is still happening every Friday from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. and 3 p.m – 4 p.m. The class is open to anyone – no yoga experience is necessary for a minimum of AED 30 suggested contributions, with all proceeds going toward sponsoring neuter programs in alliance with Little Pearls’ clinic partners in the UAE. Attendees can try signature classes such as Floating bliss with a sound bath, Inferno hot Pilates, Fit Flow, Warm flexibility flow, and more at the open house. Students are encouraged to book in advance due to space limitations and social distance.
Additionally, there will be raffles where students can win private sessions, giveaways, and a super sale on select items. And the first 50 students will receive free healthy shots from VShakes. INSPIRE is located at level 1, Zone D of Gate Avenue, DIFC.
